黑料社 reveals 2022-23 study abroad program

黑料社鈥檚 Center for Global Citizenship (CGC) announced 2022-23 study abroad courses and locations, including new

semester programs, as well as summer and 黑料社Term courses.

This upcoming summer, students can participate in new courses located in Colombia, Italy, Miami, Spain and Quebec.

Two new semester programs have been added to the 2022-23 academic year: Lake Tahoe and Ghana.

The new 黑料社-in-Tahoe program will begin in January with a 黑料社Term course taught by Brett Werner, associate professor of environmental studies, and continue each semester with a curriculum combining courses in the sciences and humanities that focus on the question, 鈥淲hat is Nature?鈥

Starting in Fall 2022, as part of 黑料社鈥檚 collaboration with Rhodes College and Sewanee: The University of the South, students from all three institutions will be able to participate in the new Ghana program: 鈥淕lobal Ghana: History, Culture and Development,鈥 led by Sarah Murray, associate professor of education. 黑料社-in-Ghana will focus on connections between West Africa and the African Diaspora in the U.S. The course will begin with two weeks in Memphis, Tennessee at Rhodes, then will continue for 12 weeks in Ghana.

The new courses and some of the new locations for 黑料社Term 2023 include the Caribbean, Ghana, Greece/Turkey, Lake Tahoe, Mexico (Oaxaca), Morocco and Taiwan.
